Very good service, i have used it for under a month and i can already say its very good. They have a nice and easy website, but i have a little thing they can change. And that is their selection like when you try to select which weapon you want to rent, it can be buggy. But other than that its a really good website, nice and easy to use. Plus the api and trading is very good to help people not losing the item or being scammed. :D

Seit jetzt zwei Jahren nutze ich lootbear als Möglichkeit, durch das Verleihen meiner Skins zusätzlich etwas Geld zu verdienen.
Das Auszahlen des Geldes funktionierte anfangs (vor zwei Jahren) ziemlich schlecht. Teilweise musste ich ein halbes Jahr warten, bis ich mein angefordertes Geld erhalten habe. Seit etwa einem Jahr geht das aber recht fix und das Geld wird eigentlich immer innerhalb weniger Tage nach Anforderung ausgezahlt.

Insgesamt bin ich ganz zufrieden. Es gibt aber einige Dinge, die mich stören, wie die fehlende Transparenz.

Ist ein Skin verliehen, kann ich nicht sehen, wieviel ich pro Tag/Monat an diesem Skin verdiene. Das funktioniert nur bei nicht verliehenen Skins und auch nur, wenn ich ein Tradeoffer anfordern möchte, um mir den Skin wieder zurückzusenden.

Vor kurzem erhielt ich für einen "verlorenen oder verbuggten Skin" (Zitat vom Support) eine Kompensation auf meine Balance. Das dieses Geld aber von einem Skin stammt, erfuhr ich erst nach Kontakt mit dem Support, anstatt durch beispielsweise eine Textmeldung auf der Website oder eine E-Mail.

Aus Spaß habe ich auf csgofloat.com nachgeschaut, durch welche Hände denn der Skin gelaufen ist. Hier wurde mir dann angezeigt, dass der Skin vor 487 Tagen auf dem Market angeboten und verkauft wurde. Da ich in dieser Zeit weiterhin Geld für das Verleihen des Skins bekommen habe, möchte ich mich hier jetzt nicht weiter über das Verschwinden des Skins auslassen, da das ein Risiko ist, welches man eingeht, wenn man seine Skins zum Verleihen anbietet.

Worüber ich mich aber ärgere sind die AGBs von lootbear, was verlorene Skins angeht. Laut diesen bekomme ich entweder einen Skin des selben Wertes oder Geld auf mein Balance, womit ich mir im lootbear Shop dann selbst Skins heraussuchen kann. Die Möglichkeit, mir nur das Geld auszuzahlen gibt es aber leider nicht.
Das perfide daran ist, dass es mein Skin ist, der verliehen wurde, lootbear sich das Geld für meinen "verlorenen" Skin vom Leiher zurückholt und somit meinen Skin in Geld umgewandelt hat.
Ich bin dann gezwungen, einen Skin zu kaufen, den ich vielleich gar nicht haben will und auch das Restguthaben kann ich mir nicht auszahlen lassen. Somit bleibt das Geld bei Lootbear.
Aufgrund dieser Vorgehensweise bleibe ich auch bei der Meinung, dass das ein super Geschäft für lootbear ist: Ich verliere meinen Skin -> lootbear holt sich vom Ausleiher das Geld für den Skin zurück -> lootbear gib mir das Geld -> ich bin dadurch gezwungen, einen Skin bei lootbear zu kaufen, den lootbear sonst nicht verkaufen würde -> das Geld geht wieder an lootbear. Und die ganze Sache durch einen Skin, der mir gehörte.

Da es sich bei jedem Skin um einen einzigartigen Gegenstand handelt, möchte ich auch nicht jeden Skin haben.

Natürlich könnte ich den Skin wieder verkaufen. Wenn man aber berücksichtigt, dass lootbear die Skins im Shop meist zu Steam Preisen anbietet, würde das beim Verkauf auf Seiten wie Skinbaron unter Steam Preis einen hohen Verlust ergeben.

Ich betone hier nochmal, dass ich durchaus weiß, dass lootbear das so handhabt und es so in deren AGB steht, ich kritisiere hier aber, dass dem Verleihenden hier die Möglichkeit fehlt, das Geld für den verlorenen Skin bzw. das auf der Balance verbleibende Geld nach einem Skinkauf im lootbear Shop auszahlen zu lassen.

Ich möchte am Ende noch einmal kurz das Szenario durchspielen, den Skin durch ein Auto zu ersetzen. Stellt euch vor, ich verleiht euer Auto über eine Firma und bekommt dafür Provision. Nun wird das Auto kaputt gefahren. Die Firma sagt euch: auf dem Gebrauchtwagenmarkt ist euer Auto momentan 20 000€ wert. Ihr könnt euch von diesem Geld unter unseren Gebrauchtwägen Autos zum Erwerb aussuchen. Das Auto was am nähesten an eure heran kommen würde kostet 19 000€. Ihr kauft das Auto. Die Firma behält die 1000€ die übrig bleiben aber ein. Ihr habt nur die Möglichkeit, die 1000€ für ein 950€ teure altes Auto auszugeben, was keiner mehr fahren will oder ihr kauft davon nichts und das Geld bleibt bei der Firma. Selbst wenn ihr das alte Auto kaufen würdet wären immer noch 50€ übrig, die einbehalten werden.
Genau das passiert so bei lootbear, nur mit Skins. Und wenn man die Skins wie oben durch Autos vergleicht, erkennt man, wie abwegig diese Handhabung eigentlich ist.

Awesome stuff. Been using lootbear for awhile now. Every so often I'm bored of the default knives, I go on Lootbear and grab a nice one! Easy process every time, love their services.

My skin was stolen by a user, lootbear didn't notify me and only gave me 75% of the value back (not even considering rare stickers/float or pattern) and i can't withdraw to paypal because they gave me the money back in site balance.
After many day's complaining they gave me another 5% on top saying that they can't do nothing more.
